Inch Strand is along the south coast of the Dingle
Peninsula at the foot of the Slieve Mish Mountains.
This golden strand stretches well over a mile and
is littered with shells. Views of Glenbeigh on the
north coast of the Ring of Kerry can be seen from
here, and would indeed connect if not for the channel
of water between them.
During the summer months it's quite common to see
motorist on the beach...in their cars!
