Carrickkildavnet Castle is a small 15th century castle situated beside an inlet from the sea.

This is a finely preserved castle with the remains of a boat slip outside the castle and traces of the bawn walls can be seen.

This castle is associated with Grace O'Malley, but was actually built before her time, and probably by one of her ancestors.
