Dungimmon House, formerly Ballyconnell House, is a purpose
built guest house, but is run as a family home. It's set on
two acres of landscaped gardens, which guests are free to wander.
All rooms are en-suite and include coffee/tea making facilities,
power showers, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi connection. There
is also a fully fitted room on the ground floor for those with
physical challenges. Also on the guest floor, guests are welcome
to enjoy the turf fire in the lounge, which also has coffee/tea
making facilities, TV and library of books. There is a breakfast
menu available, and evening meals are available with advance
notice. Dungimmon House is licensed to sell wine and beer to
guests to consume on the premises.
This is an ideal location to base for a few days, as there
are several attractions nearby, including the restored Belturbet
Railway Station, Drumlane Monastic Ruins and the Marble Arch
Caves.
