The Old Train House is a 19th century converted railway building,
formerly part of the Great Southern & Western Railway line
between Killarney and Rosslare Harbour. The building was tastefully
renovated in the 1990s into a family home and bed and breakfast.
All rooms are en suite and include color TV and tea/coffee making
facilities. Off-street parking and guest gardens available.
And the original 1913 timber signal box is still in place.
The innkeepers are also into classic cars, which include a
1967 Morris Mini Cooper, a 1950 Triumph Renown, a 1960 Austin
Seven, a 1967 Austin Mini automatic, a 1968 Wolseley Hornet,
and two Daimler DS420 limousines.
Railway and classic car enthusiast alike will find a stay at
the Old Train House a very memorable part of their holiday.
