Inny Bay is a family home working farmhouse, raising sheep,
cows, hens and ducks. Three rooms are en-suite. The guest lounge
has an open fire, coffee/tea making facilities, fridge and TV.
Those traveling with laptops can avail of broadband, or guests
can use the house computer to check email. There is a breakfast
menu and an evening meal is available with advance notice. All
meals are served in the sunroom with stunning views of Lough
Ree.
Lizzy Murray's is one of Ireland's oldest traditional pubs,
dating back around 300 years. Live music at the weekends.
This is a very popular location for boaters, anglers and bird
watchers. Boats are available for hire. Packed lunches can be
prepared with advance notice for those wanting to spend a day
exploring on the lake.
This is an excellent place to stay for a long weekend if peace
and quiet is what you're after.
