REVIEW

Waterford Castle dates back as far as the 15th century. The castle is set on The Island, an island set off the mainland near Waterford City in Waterford Harbour. Access to the island is by car ferry only. All rooms are en suite today and offer top quality antiques. Open fires have remained a central feature in each room. While each room gives a sense of timelessness and luxury, all modern day amenities can also be enjoyed in the rooms. Stunning views from every room. There is an 18 hole golf course surrounding the castle and dozens of acres of parkland are available for a casual stroll. There is an award winning restaurant in the castle offering tasty gourmet cuisine. The country club has a clubhouse for casual meals.
