Kilkea Castle is Ireland's oldest inhabited castle, dating back to 1180. Today the castle has been completely modernized and offers all the creature comforts we come to expect in a hotel yet the castle offers guests a more relaxed stay. All rooms are en suite yet unique. Hotel amenities include car parking, secretarial services, room service, wheel chair facilities, safety deposit facilities, satellite television, direct-dial telephone, laundry service and helicopter pad. Meeting space is available for groups as well as banqueting facilities. There is a full leisure center on the site and the famous rose gardens are available to guests. A full service restaurant and bar are on site, and an 18 hole golf course circles the castle. Stay at the castle and there's no need to leave the grounds.
