REVIEW
Abbeyglen Castle Hotel is a 19th century
castle situated on a hillside overlooking an inlet
from Clifden Bay just off the Sky Road. This castle
was built by the founder of Clifden town, John D'Arcy
and is one of Ireland more romantic castles with its
arched windows, stunning gardens that include waterfalls
and streams, and views to the bay. Each room is en
suite and offer a selection of special amenities from
4-poster beds and spa baths to sea views. All rooms
include dinner in the hotel and access to the leisure
facilities. There is a restaurant and piano bar on
site as well as snooker, tennis and a garden pool.
